The Bikery is stoked to team up with "POSEURS" C.M.F.A to offer Yoga for Cyclists! Open to all levels, flow through a vinyasa sequence that targets muscle groups used while cycling.
The class takes place in the community space next door to The Bikery and is donation-based. Bring your own mat.
Our instructor is a recent graduate of the Poseurs School of Magic Teacher training who completed their final project on yoga for cyclists.
About "POSEURS" C.M.F.A:
Poseurs started as a Yoga Fanzine, and has continued its run as the longest running yoga zine to date. It has grown into a full on class series, and most importantly an awesome community. Our mission is to offer accessible yoga, empower community and to open up the conversation about the awesomeness of this practice.
Vinyasa is where we practice yoga postures and move in and out of them with synchronized breath. This is an energetic practice with a big focus on yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing practice). This class is open to all levels of knowledge and experience.
About The Bikery:
The Bikery is a volunteer-run bike kitchen in Seattle's South-Central District. The Bikery uses collaborative, hands-on education in bicycles and cycling to liberate movement and increase access to knowledge, and to share the revelation that all forms of knowledge can be earned without permission.
