The Bikery is a 100% volunteer run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your tax-deductible contribution keeps our doors open and provides low-cost bike repair to the Seattle community.

There are several ways to support the Bikery! We accept donations of cash, bikes and bike parts, and in-kind donations of services we can use to deliver our programs. Check out the different ways to support below.

Got an old bike gathering dust in your garage?

We believe in the magic of all bicycles - old, new, shiny, and storied. We gladly accept donations of bicycles, bike parts, and tools that can be put to use in our workshop. Bikes are refurbished and sold in our retail shop, which keeps waste out of landfills and provides accessible transportation to a member of our community!

Bikes and bike parts can be donated during shop hours. If you would like to make an appointment to donate outside shop hours, send an email to info@thebikery.org. Please no helmets, water bottles, clothing, shoes or children’s bikes.

Corporate & Workplace Giving

We are a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible. If you or your organization would like to donate on an ongoing basis, please get in touch. Many organizations have workplace giving programs that boost employee donations to nonprofits like The Bikery. Workplaces may offer automatic payroll deductions, donation matching, or volunteer hours matching – all of these can help maximize your impact on our community.
